This was the right variety at the right price. Some I’ve used before and many I haven’t. However, this was really more about the Mrs. as we found a 1967 Lady Gillette DE safety razor at an antiques market. She was ready to give up the uber expensive, multi blade, plastic cartridge nonsense and enjoy all the pleasure and benefits of shaving like grandpa/grandma used to. This pack has many of the more popular and readily available blades. So far the Mrs. is enjoying the process and keeping notes on which blades have the best performance for her. This is a good set to start with IMO.

Good variety of blade types. Been wet shaving for six years and using the same blades for a long while now. Since Im a lot more comfortable with using a de razor I wanted to see if there was a blade that would work better for me. This pack gives me a good spread of mild to aggressive blade types. Its good to revisit blades every once in a while.

I do not feel cheated, but I got 100 of all the same brand. I had hoped for a sampler, but I am not going through the hassle of returning what I got. The one blade I used so far is okay.

Im fairly new to shaving with a safety razor and I needed a variety of blades to see what I like. This was a great solution and high quality blades to boot!

This sample of blades is excellent, so far my favorites are shark blades. Should last me over a year if not longer.

Im very happy with the variety in this pack. I have recently started using a safety razor, and wanted to try razor options without ordering 50+ blades of each kind.

I requested this pack as a Xmas 2018 gift. I’m reviewing as I go through the kit and ranking. I have a fairly thick beard and a sensitive neck prone to bumps and nicks. *update - too many to review individually, so I updated my list a little more generically* Astra Platinum - awesome, super sharp, no drag, easy on my neck. Used the blade for 2 weeks, stayed nearly as sharp on the last day as the first. All other platinum blades - pretty much equivalent performance All other standard blades

You cant go wrong getting a pack of these if youre new to wet shaving. It gives you a variety to choose from to find the blade you like. If you find a pack you dont like you dont feel bad about getting rid of them and moving on. Just be sure, when you find a blade you like to hold on to some for comparison against others you like so you can whittle it down to the brand that really suits you.
