> 3 day1000- 3/8 in steel ball bearings packaged in 2 bags, in a plastic container. Each bag weighs almost 4 lbs, entire package was about 8lbs. They are shiny and smooth, not rusted or pitted. They do not have a coating of oil/grease, I dont see any oily residue in either bag. They do not smell. They can be picked up with a magnet. If I run out of these I wouldnt hesitate ordering them again
