Great product , price wise it costs $2 more then Ubiquiti , but Amazon shipping is free and faster . Definitely high quality and delivers 10gb connection . Will purchase this cable again in the future .

Does everything its supposed to. 10G speeds between 2 Mellanox SFP+ cards. Quality is up there with the best DAC cables, and i have no questions this cable will last for a very very long time.

Expensive cable, but it does the trick. Seems to be quite durable given that I accidentally installed it improperly when I first got it. I also accidentally crushed it with the server (weighing about 100 pounds) but the cable still works perfectly!

Cheaper and functional solution to a SFP+ Transceiver / cat 7 cable, with the added bonus of lower power comsumption. This cable is used to connect a PC workstation with a 10Gtek X520-10G-1S NIC (Intel 82599 chipset) to a Netgear MS510TX switch. The solution works and have a reliable 10 Gb/s network link.

Used to VPC a Cohesity cluster to Nexus 93180 switches.

Connected my D-Link DGS-1210-10P just fine (1 Gb/s Full Duplex, that is the max for the port).

Was having problems with separate cables + transceivers (most likely the cable) - and when I switched to this integrated fiber SFP+ - xfers immediately jumped to expected levels.

I set up an enterprise VMware environment at home for certification purposes as well as keeping my skills fresh and keeping my thumb on the pulse of technology. Doing so, a 10Gb network is a must and you need to source cables somewhere. Angry at myself for throwing out 60 or so of these cables at my job 2 years ago, I had to buy some.. and they arrived fast and definitely work great. The only thing to be aware of is that the pull tabs to release the cable dont all work properly. Its a well known fact that you sometimes have to push the cable in while pulling the tab to release it, but that trick doesnt work here. You have to use a paperclip to slide into the slot carefully release it. For that reason, and only that reason alone I have to take away a star.
