More than I needed for my personal use but a great starter press

Works grate. Could improve by making a disconnect for the control its and mine did not come with rubber feet.

Absolutely perfect. Definitely got my money’s worth. I’m a little upset I ordered this model because they released the newer model right after I ordered. Eventually I shall upgrade to it.

Love it. Great design. Comes with Allen wrenches and spare parts. The 12 ton hand pump works perfectly with the press. My first press was a nugsmasher and I had to replace it. Nugsmasher designed it where you cant get to the jack. You have to take the knob off of the pressure valve. This means cutting welds off. The front and rear panel had to come off which means drilling out blind rivets. Then you have to cut four welds off holding the jack in place. Terrible, terrible design and the fabrication was hideous. Enough of ragging on Nugsmasher, this dabpress was designed right. I absolutely have no complaints. Ive had it for 2 years now and pressed many pounds without any flaws. I highly recommend it.

The DABPRESS TC01V5 temperature controllers did not come with a manual and I cannot find it anywhere online... It is unusable until I get a manual.

Never used one of these before and I decided to get the 10 ton so that I wouldn’t have to upgrade in the future. Very impressed with the build quality and performance. It came packaged with lots of foam to keep it from shifting around, which I appreciate. Used it for the first time yesterday and I am extremely happy with it. I can tell it is going to last many many years, and make lots of yummy rosin. I also love the fact that you can buy the pump separately so that I could get a gauge with it. I don’t know what more you could ask for in this price range, absolutely would recommend to anyone looking to get into pressing or just upgrading to a bigger unit.

This press is one of the best purchases Ive made to date! I did my research before buying, making sure that I had a reliable machine to make my medicinal concentrates with. The build quality is undeniably among the best. Dont let the aluminum frame fool you, its rugged and strong. The hardware is of the more expensive variety and keeps everything together rock solid. The plates are anodized aluminum. This is probably the best material for pressing plates. Some people say aluminum is soft and will warp from heat stress. The anodization process hardens the aluminum to eliminate these concerns while also maintaining the superior thermal properties of aluminum. The controller is pretty basic, using two PID units to control two heat rods in the plates. Nothing too fancy, but it works. Why change simple if it works? The one complaint I have is that the hydraulic hand pump is not included, but its not enough to take a star off, although the pump was out of stock when I ordered. This is actually a plus, however, as you can build your own pump with gauge for likely cheaper, and it doesnt raise the cost of the press itself. However, once their branded pump was back in stock, I went with that option. It would be nice if the gauge on the pump could show you the PSI at the puck, but the design means the gauge only shows the pressure in the hydraulic line. Its not super difficult to do the math to figure out the actual PSI, but a bit of a hassle. Since I have no idea if a gauge could display PSI at the puck, and especially in this price range, then I dont consider that reason to remove a star either. It may just be the nature of the beast. Ive only pressed a few small nugs so far, but the results were better than expected. The quality obtainable with a beginners level of skill makes me very excited to see what its capable of once I improve! One of the best presses around!

Went with the 12 ton and havent been disappointed yet. The large 4x7 plates are perfect, they easily and efficiently squish your large amounts of hash or flowers within seconds. The 1200w dual heating elements transmit heat astonishingly well for an incredible low temp squish every time. I paired the press with a 10-ton porta power pump and a Dab Press gauge kit for a seamless installation. Now I can squish at 600PSI for flower and 200PSI for hash EVERY TIME! Thanks Dab Press
