I purchased this for use on a Merak MX 85 gateway. The transceiver works fine on the LAN SFP ports but will not link past 10MB on the WAN port. I even tried manually setting it in the local management page. It seems to work fine on the LAN ports and also on a Meraki MS120 switch though.

I have edgerouter4 and gs110tp, i bought two of those in the hope of connecting the router to the switch via sfp. Upon connection, nothing happened, no green light, nothing. I left them in their boxes thinking that i didnt do enough research to ensure compatability. As a last resort, i decided to contact 10gtek and ask for advice. I got a response within few hours stating some troubleshooting steps trying to pin down the problem. The first suggestion was to try another fiber cable which i didnt have and i had to buy it, once arrived, i connected it and the green lights came up on both the router and the switch, so far so good! Thanks a lot Freya from 10gtek for the quick response and the helpful suggestions. Soon i will buy two more to extend my network.

Works in my Cisco SG300 series switch. Works in my BV-tech PoE switch. Works in my 10Gtek media converter. Just plug in and go. At least so far I can only say good things about these.

El producto tenía la duda de fuera compatible con en equipo Aleman,,, resulta que tuve las dudas por que no había escuchado de la marca pero me base en su ficha técnica y vi que allí cumplía varias normas y estándares internacionales, dije si es así entonces debe funcionar y resulto todo muy bien,,, buen producto lo recomiendo
