> 3 dayI like that you can purchase different lengths with different lugs. But, I experienced the same problems as others. None of the lugs were crimped properly. I was able to pull off all the lugs without much effort. In addition, after removing the lugs, I noticed that some of the wire strands were damaged (presumably during stripping). Frustrating. I should have put the wires together myself.

Greater than one weekI purchased these wires to connect two batteries in parallel for my RV. The crimps were solid and heat sink was tight. Despite the heavy gauge, the wire was very flexible, allowing easy installation. I reviewed several other wires and decided to spend a few more bucks for this one. Well worth it!!

> 3 dayThe lugs are cheap or crimped badly because they pull off. I was putting on boots and the lug pulled off. Bad crimps can have high resistance creating heat and if they are loose cause arcing both of which can lead to fire. After returning these cables I found batterycablesusa dot com. I bought cables at batterycablesusa and they are very well crimped. I could not pull the lug off and the heat shrink has adhesive.

Greater than one weekWell-made. The ends are tinned copper for corrosion resistance. They are tough enough to withstand me having to widen out one hole from 5/16 to 3/8 with a drill bit in the dark. These were actually quite a bit thicker and better made than the cables that run from the battery to the camper (way to go key stone). Worked great for paralleling up two batteries (group 24) in side-by-side boxes. Made for plenty of power for a 2-night dry camping trip.
