Theres a diamond paste company that sells wool felt pads, 4x 6, that is an outrageous price for one, and over $10 for three of them. So I was thinking, I could cut each of these sheets into three pieces that would each be 4 x 6. At less than $1.20 for each sheet, that would be under 40 cents for each pad. And these were supposedly thicker, as the expensive ones have specs placing them at thinner. But actually its these sheets that are quite a bit thinner. Too thin, really. But they arent sold for my intended purpose, so it was I who took a chance with it. These sheets seem to be a decent quality. Theyre thinner felt than Im used to. And not as dense. Very soft. A little on the lumpy side. They seem too thin to me to be used for crafts. And too thin for my purposes. Im going to try to make some strops with them, on solid flat backing, and apply thinned diamond paste. It doesnt seem like theyll hold up very well, but Im going to give it a try. For those doing crafts, these arent stiff at all. More like a thick fabric. My issue is primarily with how thin they are. If not for that, theyd have probably worked well enough for my purposes.

I really like this package of fall colors. The material is so easy to work with. I found that it sticks to itself and I can cut it neatly without even using pins to hold it in place. Fall colors are my favorite. I just wish I had of bought the 12 x 12 package so I could make a little more for my 13 doll. The sheets make great projects. It is very easy to hand sew while watching movies on Prime too. No two sheets are alike either.

Im very pleased with the quality of this felt and sooo happy its made in the US.
