Not the quality of the old J&J floss dispenser. If I had it to do over, I would have bought the more expensive one.

Ive been using dental floss and, later, dental tape for over 50 years. I dont recall this problem occurring in the past, but in recent years the floss or dental tape would offer so much resistance to the pulling that it would burst out of the container. This occurred even on premium labels such as Johnson & Johnson. It would require one playing a skill game late at night just to get it working again. With this new container, I can simply reload the spindle and continue. The screw-down mechanism assures that there will be no jack-in-the box surprise.

Love this dispenser - but dont waste your time or $ on Reach Floss Refills. Use Glide floss refills in this dispenser. That is...if you can find the Glide spool refills. Reach floss just shreds and breaks.

This is a great alternative to constantly buying small dental floss containers in the store.

Oh boy, when I think of the money I wasted on those dinky flosses and wasted end pieces, I just wish I knew about system years ago.
