> 24 hourI have two RVs and have bought this product before. This time through Gearit, I paid much less than my first purchase elsewhere. This RV adapter is actually much more heavy duty. It has a handle on the one end to make connecting and disconnecting a breeze.

> 24 hourLiked the ease of use ,but wont go as far to say its water proof will need a water proof plug box to make it water proof

> 24 hourFirst of all, this is a good product. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars was because, while I was about to write this review I noticed that the adapter that was sent to me did not have the black locking ring shown in the advertisement. Ive attached a pic it illustrate. It would be nice to know that while Im using the adapter no one could accidentally bump it and knock it off the plug. Would it be possible to send the locking ring?

> 24 hourPick it up for the RV, it is solidly built and well-designed. The only reason we won’t buy another one, is that this one will last for years.

> 24 hourNo problems with moisture. Several rain storms. I do tie a plastic bag around the connection but I would do that with any product that sits out in the rain. Connections are strong and made of very good materials.

> 24 hourObviously having access to a full 30A is better, and often necessary when camping. However I dont have a 30A outlet at our home, yet want to use AC power to pre-chill the refrigerator, keep the battery charged, and/or use interior lights. This dogbone adapter allows me to do all of that without using my heavy 30A cable as the starting connection. What attracted me to this adapter is the wire can safely handle 20A. My home has a GFCI 20A outlet and 20A outdoor extension cord. 20A is more than enough power to prepare for our next camping trip.

> 24 hourYes works, No - not as weather tight as expected without the black locking ring as in the picture. It does not have it as shown in the picture. Does get the job done but not as water tight as I wanted but it works...

> 24 hourUsed once so far. Worked as advertised. Quality seems excellent. Would prefer the 110 volt plug to be straight to be inline with an extension cord since it will be used on the RV and not plugged into a wall outlet.
