Greater than one weekThis is an amazing bag. Its very good quality, and though its a little on the big side for my needs, it holds everything easily, and has plenty of pockets and dividers so that everything remains organized, which is of upmost importance to me (Im a little OCD when it comes to organization). The only thing I noticed that is could be of note is that what I received is ever so slightly different than the picture. Instead of the ID window being on the front of the bag on the middle pocket as pictured, its on the back of my bag. Not a big deal and doesnt affect my use of the bag in any way, I just thought Id mention it.

> 3 dayIve used this bag for a few months now and I havent noticed any tears or defects with the material (I share a car with 2 other people, it gets moved around a lot). I have mine fully loaded with all my patrol gear so I can keep everything organized, and it really fits a lot of stuff. The outside water bottle pockets are not big enough or easy enough to put an actual water bottle into tho, especially if you put a lot of stuff in the main compartment. Bottom line, I definitely would suggest getting this bag for patrol!

> 3 dayOk, I have had this thing for almost a year now. It is still here, so my quality issues are somewhat mute, but still important. I keep my bag pretty weighed down between all of the mumbo jumbo paperwork, policy handbooks, and state/municipal code books as well as my college books for when there is downtime. There are places for water bottles, end caps for random things like bug spray or sunscreen and various pouches for all the extra crap a cop might drag around. If I put anything else in here I would be out on medical leave for my back. The only reason a 4 instead of a 5 is because within a few weeks of getting it there was slight tearing on one of the seams on the lid. Nothing else since then, and the strap has held up to all the weight I have in it. Just was a little surprised how fast it tore.

> 3 dayLooks like a great bag, but is not what the page suggests and will not suit my needs because of this. Bag is much larger than they specify - 18.5 x 12 x 8 are the inside dimensions of the large pocket and do not account for the external pockets. Actual size is more like 22 x 9 x 12 (they spec L x H x W rather than L x W x H). Also, the third product image shows what looks to be a removable carrier segmented into 3 even sections and a bag. These are nowhere to be found. The internal dividers are velcrod in place and while removable, are not adjustable. There is only velcro installed in specific places and you cannot reconfigure the internal dividers. See photos for layout - is not what you would expect given image 3 above. One more caveat, the id holder window is not prominently displayed on the front as the image suggests but alone by itself on the back of the bag. There are pockets on the inside of the lid that arent shown in the product page (they are a nice touch and look useful, but another deviation from what was described). Outside of not being what they advertised, the bag looks awesome. Well made, strong velcro, pockets in the right places. Actually very annoyed it will not work for my application due to size and internal configuration.

> 3 dayVery good quality and more room than I expected. Thank you very much, I bought 3 of these bags, 1 for me and 1 for my daughter and 1 for my son in law, we are all in EMS.

> 3 dayI am a train conductor, this gear bag has ample space on the inside that fits all my items, flashlights, rainsuit, xtra batteries, safety glasses, gloves and all my books and a ridiculous amount of paper work that are mandatory to carry by the federal railroad administration and other host railroads and I still have plenty of space for my lunch. On the outside it has two individual pockets that each fit a 24 oz bottle of water and 3 more huge compartments. every item in my 5.11 bag is easy to access.no more fumbling around. I own other name brand backpacks. The 5.11 patrol ready bag is less than half the cost of those bags and out performs them hands down.A lot of the other conductors complement me on my 5.11 bag, nice looking and durable. Ive been searching for a great gear bag This 5.11 bag will be the last bag I use. All those other expensive name brand back packs that I purchased are at the bottom of my closet.Thank-you 5.11

> 3 dayI am a sports coach and have struggled with a tactical backpack the last three years—way too difficult to get my clipboards and gear in and out quickly. This bag is a godsend—plenty of pockets, soft but semi-rigid body that doesn’t collapse, and tons of storage space. This thing is amazing!

> 3 dayMy return and lower than a 5-star rate is that it is larger than heavier than expected. I was expecting something more lightweight. I do not know if the online description had changed between my view and purchase. Overall, looks sturdy as promised.

Greater than one weekUsed for LE training academy, perfect to store everything needed and a separate compartment also to place your sweaty clothes and shoes separate from the clean ones after showers

> 3 dayI would prefer a few more pocket options, but for the price and quality, its great.
