Greater than one weekAs others have mentioned, the wire gauge is falsely advertised. I purchased the 4 gauge wire last Fall. Just got around to now. Tried crimping on a 4 gauge battery end and it was loose. Tried a 6 gauge and it worked. Measured the cooper as well and it is 6 gauge despite #4 gauge being clearly printed on the cable shell.

> 3 dayNice flexible fine strand copper wire but it is thinner than I expected. Seems more like 8 gauge. Pay attention to the chart. Wire is about 1/4 thick. I should have ordered a size or 2 bigger. Overall you are paying for quality.

> 3 dayI use it to connect 4 - 6 Volt deep cycle batteries in series (24 Volt application) and wire (very short run) battery bank to inverter with circuit breaker. They dont get hot to the touch. I would buy more if I add more batteries in the future.
