> 3 dayThese stripping wheels are big time savers. Being able to my angle grinder for stripping and cleaning is great, because it has so much power. These wheels fit my grinder spindle as expected. They install without issues. They do what they are intended to do.

Greater than one weekI am building a trailer from an old frame someone gave me, the frame was very rusty and I needed to strip that off prior to painting it. These discs are excellent for rust removal. I was able to grind down the entire trailer in a 2 day time frame and only used one disc. I have another project coming up that I need to strip paint from a piece of wood furniture, Ill keep you updated on how it works.

> 3 dayThese stripping wheels are very aggressive and remove paint quickly and easily. This is what you want. Make fast work of removing paint and corrosion. I just stripped a deck to get it ready for fresh staining. Dont overdo it with pressure on softer woods because it will remove the wood fibers, leaving a rough surface. Also keep control of the angle grinder or the edge of the wheel will dig in and leave marks. Stripping metal is good too, but the same applies to stripping aluminum. Will leave circular scratches if you arent careful and paying attention. But overall, these work well for general stripping use, corrosion cleanup, etc.

Greater than one weekGreat for metal prep, removing paint, rust, etc. from metal but not affecting the metal itself. Works better than a wire wheel.

> 3 dayWorking in the rust belt I use a lot of wire wheels and cups, grinding and flap discs. I never tried these because they were expensive and I did not believe they would do the job. But I must admit these exceeded my expectations not only were they less expensive than in the big box stores but they worked very well with much less metal loss my other methods. They won’t grind down a weld smooth, but they will certainly clean it up. I use a variable speed side grinder to limit grab on my wire wheels, but find this is much easier to control. They really don’t grab to badly which is important, when working around fuel lines and wiring harnesses.

> 3 dayThese do work for stripping/grinding paint pretty rapidly, but they are not an exact fit for a typical angle grinder. They do not fit on the shoulder of flange like most other discs do. Instead it merely slips over the shaft with a loose fit, hard to center, which makes them spin slightly off-center, which is sort of dangerous. Surprisingly it didnt equate to much extra vibration on the tool during use. In my photos you can see the product, and in my last photo, Ive compared it to how discs are supposed to fit. I did brave using these despite not being able to get it perfectly centered, and they did perform the job of removing paint from wood very fast. Although they did remove paint quickly, I had to ding the rating a little because of safety aspect of not being able to center these perfectly. My summarized assessment of this product is that these will do the job, but there are certainly safer products available.

> 3 dayThese are a great way to remove rust when preparing the surface for welding or painting. I turn to these before ever using a wire wheel or sanding disc. Good functional tool. One issue is the grit designation or lack of it. There is no information on the discs, and two colors: blue and purple. For abrasive products this usually means different grits. Only indication is in the Amazon description which notes 60 grit. Is this for one color or both? Other than that these are very useful.

> 3 dayI used one of these to clean an old shovel that was covered in rust, dirt, concrete and old paint. The stripper pads cleaned down to shiny metal in no time. The pad left a smooth shiny surface that is ready to prime and paint. The removal was fast but the pads did not leave deep scratches. These do not fall apart and last a long time. I really like these items and they are price reasonably.
