> 3 dayThe first part is finding the correct model and year of the laptop. Once this is determined you must make sure it is compatible. Only by digging deeper you can determine if the ram is correct. Sometimes the manufacturer doesn’t specify. Fortunately other users tried with success. After feeling confident there would be no conflict the product was purchased. So far it is working well and will satisfy my software needs. The only issue was delayed shipping but it arrived sooner than promised. Do take precautions when installing and check out other YouTube sites for instructions and advice.

> 3 dayMy computer was running far too slowly. I ordered these to help with the amount of RAM I could access, and along with a new SSD drive, my older 2013 iMac is now working at lightning speed!

> 3 dayMy daughter gave me her old MacBook Pro because it was it was running very slow and she had bought a new one. I ordered 2 of the A-Tech 8GB DDR3 1600MHz PC3-12800 SODIMM RAM Upgrade for Apple MacBook Pro (Mid 2012), a Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD and the HaiMay 7 Pieces Screwdriver Tool Kit Pentalobe Screwdriver for Macbook. Following instructions from a YouTube video, I upgraded the old slow MacBook and she runs like a new puppy. Saved over $1500 campared to my daughters new computer.

> 3 dayI have an old MacBook Pro mid-2012 that had 4GB memory. It was running so slow that it would take up to 2-3 minutes to open Safari and load a page. Did research and found suggestion that increasing memory would help. Oh man, did it ever! It runs like new just doubling the memory. Simple to install. I had never opened up my computer so was somewhat nervous but it was very easy to do. Price was as good as anywhere else and free shipping closed the deal. Very happy I did this.
