MANY years ago, my parents had something similar to this for my oldest grandson (he is 34 now) and they used it when they went to the mall or even just out for walks - he loved it - so he barked when he wore it but he was under control! I now have custody of my 17 month old great granddaughter and she hates being in the stroller or having to hold on to my hand when we are out - her main trick is standing up in the carts, even when belted in - so I got this this week, just in time for her mommy to graduate from high school - IT WAS A LIFE SAVER!! we were at Globe Life Park (a HUGE baseball stadium) and she did not want to sit for the 3 hours we were there. I held onto the leash and she could safely roam where we were seated. We took several walks and she could be independent - which is her middle name - and she was safe. I am now ordering one for my daughter - her grandma - so we each have one, and with a new baby coming in November we will need it for sure! I received MANY positive comments about it yesterday - no one made any comments that were negative like I have heard has happened before, people realize that this is a safe and practical w3ay to let a toddler be independent when walking but also under control. We have also used the coiled wrist attachment and she doesnt fight it either. Best money I have spent and I will be buying more for baby gifts when necessary - worth its weight in freedom for all!

My two year old runs every time she gets the chance. I was terrified she was going to get lost or run over because she is so fast. This works to solve that problem. She thinks its fun to put on because it means we are going for a walk. It looks like its part of her outfits because the style is so cute too.

This has made taking my two year old places so much easier. Shes very active and always on the go. I consider it a training tool. The wrist locks I dont use that much. Will use if in a bigger city.

I gave it 4 stars primarily because only the adult strap on the tether adjusts. If your little is on the bigger side, the kid end does have a limit.

I absolutely love this and so does my 2 year old. I love that I have the option to use the harness or the hand bracelet. This is so much better then the ones you buy at Walmart, it does not lift up from her body and it is light weight so she is not all hot and sweaty.

I bought this for my daughter as now she wants to walk everywhere and not sit in the cart or wagon and shes a runner when you turn your head. Folds up for easy storage or to keep in your purse, tightens to your childs size, has a good distance but doesnt allow your child to far. I like that this comes with 2 options to secure yourself to your child for a good price. We love the leash/body strap more then the wristlets but its an option for any one.

Per some of the reviewers having issues with the hook bending open, the hook breaking or the oval piece snapping off...we removed all of the metal pieces from this and used a Snap-Hook Key Ring we got at Lowe’s. They come in a variety of colors so we went with a girly purple colored one. We hooked one end of the key ring to the harness and the other end of it to the leash before we went to a park. Our 2 year old toddler gave this leash ALL she had and not one time did she slip out of it. Not once did we even have an issue with anything breaking, bending or coming undone. This harness was definitely worth every penny, just make sure you change out the hardware in the back to a Snap-Hook Key Ring.
