Screen goes black when ever and HDMI cable is plugged in. Will not run a second monitor. Submitted the units serial number to Acer for support and got a message back informing me the unit is not eligible. (Only a week old.)

I got this laptop for my daughter who loves Roblox. I researched for the best laptops compatible with Roblox game and Acer Aspire 5 Slim always figures on top of the recommendations. Although Roblox doesn’t require much for a system requirement, I opted to go with the upgraded and customized features to enhance her gaming experience and more. Now she’s using it to do digital animation as well and she’s loving how fast and easy it is to use it. I love how sleek it looks too. My daughter loves it very much...definitely worth the price, considering all the enhancements that the laptop came in with. I’d highly recommend this for any laptop purchasing needs.

Bought this for the wife for Christmas, so far so good, She really enjoys it. Fast boot up and easy to use.

At first I thought this would be a good laptop. We have only had it a few days and hate it already.

Our Acer laptop did not work properly when we got it. None of the USB ports worked. The first thing we had to do was call the help line and reload drivers. 6 weeks later it happened again. 6 weeks later it happened again and we had to send it to TX for repairs. They replaced the mother board - a major repair. It was a bad computer from the start but they wont reimburse the $58 we had to pay to ship there poorly made laptop back to them.

Sorry Acer, we got a bad laptop. The Keyboard failed to work, so we didnt get past turning it on. We are overly leary to by another one. This is a lot of money to us, but Amazon took it back as a faulty return. They refunded the cost back to our credit card. We need a new computer. The features of the Acer with the price spoiled us and we cant find another new laptop like it. I would like to get another one, but what else would go wrong.
