> 24 hourI bought this to take with me on my trips rather than my heavier, more expensive laptop. Up until today, I was really happy with it. Today, I was testing the ability to connect with this device to the ASUS router at my house so I could upload pictures from my travels directly to my network. The app, AICloud, works fine on my phone and other chromebook devices but, for some reason, my Acer Chromebook wont upload files. It will let me access my USB drive and download files but attempts to upload fail every time. I spent some time with Asus trying to identify the issue but since it works with other devices, they suggested it was an Acer issue, which seems pretty reasonable based on my 20+ years in the IT industry.

> 24 hourLove the touch-screen quality. Slower than most other laptops or phone. Uses Chrome OS, my first experience with it, perhaps thats the reason?

> 24 hourThis Acer Chromebook (TheSpin 311 Convertible) has a long-lasting battery, which is an absolute necessity for younger kids. However, it comes loaded with junk, some of which isnt usable or is outdated. Weve been using it for a few days and, of course, the kids love the touch screen, and taking photos. Although, theres little comparison to a regular PC that my10-year-old grandson is using. And its different enough to be confusing. It is, after all, a Chromebook.

> 24 hourEverything about how this is designed is very user friendly and its very much an affordable way to do basic every day computer tasks without needing to invest in a high end machine. Its responsive and Ive had no troubles at all doing all my normal every day work tasks with it. Wifi card inside does a great job of logging in and staying connected to any signal Ive used it with. The keyboard can flip around and the computer goes into tablet mode. Very easy to do with no extra steps needed. Its thin and super easy to take along, not weighing very much. A very portable machine, so great when I need to travel. Ive been using this for a few months now and Im happy with it!

> 24 hourSo first thing, since I know some people will be wondering: this device CAN NOT be flashed to run Windows or Linux, at least at this time. It is not possible. Was one of the main reasons I got it, since I did not know that at the time, but I will make do, ChromeOS is workable nowadays. If you want a Chromebook to flash to Ubuntu or Windows or something, there are websites that break down which can and which cant.

> 24 hourWhy buy a chrome book when its not even compatible with Google apps. Lol very limited on apps you can install. Screen is nice. Lightweight. Good battery life. Just limited and seems like a let down.
