> 24 hourMy husband works as a gamer. He often runs 5 games at the same time on one computer, using two screens. His custom built computer is 9 years old though. It mostly handles that activity, it has 32 GB ram and 2 GTX 380 video cards, and is an i7 as well... but again, its older. I got this for him as a surprise Christmas gift as I know any day his computer might go and he would need a back up.

> 24 hourAfter having this system for a while, I will go ahead and say an extra 8gb stick with of RAM is required to get full utilization from this system. I also bought an extra m.2 ssd. Gaming- with this system and the upgrades purchased for it, I am able to play games mostly in QHD and get 50-60 fps. I am also able to even play in native 4k (high or medium graphics preset) and get above 30 to 40 fps. Solid gaming experience. Production- as a side hobby I am a music producer, and use FL Studio 20 as my main work environment. Compared to my previous system I am able to have a fast, steady, and smooth workflow with the increased processing power of the 11th Gen Intel CPU in the system. Lastly I upgraded to Win 11, and I can confidently say this system is pretty much capable of anything you throw at it. Can’t forget the upgrade path also, for future upgrades to the CPU, GPU, more RAM etc. Overall- I am happy with the purchase, but I recommend upgrading the RAM and getting more storage.

> 24 hourIf you buy this system, or probably any other Acer Nitro desktops, you will find Acer has enabled a very dangerous setting. In Device Manager, under Disk Drives, go to the properties of the SSD, click the Policies tab, and UNcheck Turn off Windows write-cache buffer flushing on the device. Before I figured this out, user profiles on the machine were getting corrupted regularly. I have never seen this on by default in any other machine I have gotten from Dell, Lenovo, HP, etc.
