> 3 dayFirst let me explain my use cases. I mainly use this monitor for coding (8+ hours per day) and few hours for either steaming or casual gaming. So I need a monitor that can provide clear text and some sort of eye protection to reduce eye strain. Most importantly, I can finally unleash my gpu power with a proper 4k monitor.

> 3 dayYou need to turn on hdmi 2.1 in the settings of the monitor. It comes turned off by default. Press the button on the back right of the monitor once for quick menu and once again for full menu. It is under the last tab at the bottom. I spent 20 minutes looking for it under the console settings wondering why it was only outputting at 4k 60htz or 2180 at 120htz. Also this monitor retails $899. Don’t pay $2k for this. It’s beautiful but not worth twice the price. Buy the LG OLED C1 TV instead.

Greater than one weekWorked great for about a month. Then dead pixels. When I contacted Acer support they told me if it isnt a minimum of 5 dead pixels then too bad. Dont bother with this monitor or company. Total scam artists.

> 3 dayI bought new hubs and hdmi-usb-c to troubleshoot why my Mac wasnt displaying proper colours. I got one to work but the picture isnt nearly as nice as my Lenovo direct HDMI connection. Since my Mac is my daily driver, I continue to tinker with settings but it looks like this might have to go back unfortunately. PS5/XBOX looks absolutely amazing on this monitor, but I need it to perform well for my day to day needs on the Mac too.

> 3 dayAt first I thought I had image burn/image retention with this monitor after several hours of use a night and was going to return it, but then after some research it turns out if you turn up the black boost too high (I had it on 8, I believe), the image burn keeps coming back. So I turned it to the setting of 5 and I havnt had a problem with image burn since then. Pretty good monitor, my first time using an IPS @ 240hz for FPS games. Goodbye TN! Great colors also, really pretty pictures and colorful, amazing. Like nothing Ive used in the past.

Greater than one weekGreat monitor for gaming. One thing to be careful of if using with a PS5. The new VRR setting can cause flickering in games and even on the PlayStation’s menus. Be sure to set this setting to off and you’ll be fine. The IPS design of the monitor is what causes the issues
