> 24 hourI just got this laptop today after getting it for Cyber Monday. I will post a follow up after Ive had the chance to use it a couple weeks. For others like me that got it on Friday or Monday, the very first thing I did out of the box was to uninstall all of the bloatware, especially Symantec. That made the laptop feel significantly snappier. Text scaling comes set at 125% by default, which I absolutely hate. I set that to 100% and it makes the screen look SO much bigger. Updated the Nvidia driver and began to install Steam and games. Ill give it a try and see how it goes from there.

> 24 hourIts a good gaming laptop but mine came with a stuck pixel near the center and the backlight for spacebar is not working. Im not in the US so I cant have this fix also i think they need to have at least 6 pixel with problems for then to replace the screen.

> 24 hourAbsolute great price to power ratio on this computer if you are willing to work with it a bit. There are a few things that need to be done in order for this computer to run as its intended to.

> 24 hourScreen flickering was a major problem that I had to get fixed using independent repair shops. Everything else was good though. Very easy to add a new hard drive. Overall, Id recommend buying a different laptop due to the screen flickering.

> 24 hourVery good gaming laptop, preforms very well. Although be aware that some games may throttle so I would suggest downloading something like intel extreme tuning utlility or and undervolt. It can run kinda hot and so toning down its power usage helps a bit. Not faulting this laptop because of this, because its an inbuilt feature to protect hardware. I might look later at the thermal paste and see if its on properly but for now this helps a bit. Other than that, the gaming laptop has been doing quite well. I just would recommend buying about a 2 tera solid state for gaming storage and a cooling pad to help with heat.
