I use it as a day pack (perfect for holding souvenirs, snacks, water bottles, a light jacket or hoodie) and overnight bag (can fit an extra pair of clothes). On longer trips, it was often used as a dirty laundry bag. And yes, it can totally be used for a gym bag. I love it and would buy this bag over and over.

> 3 dayGot this to go camping or to places like the zoo, hiking, vacationing, and wherever else. The fabric is thicker without being too bulky or hard to close, which is nice. Also, I like the side pockets. They came in very handy. Plus, I love darker pinks so its always good to see pink products that arent baby pink. Happy with the purchase. :)

> 3 dayI did end up adding some glue to the strap knots because one kept coming undone, but this is a great cinch sack. Nice and roomy, multi-function pockets, heavy rope straps, and great selection of colors. Love it!
