> 3 dayI actually bought these to thwart my cat from opening and hiding in my kitchen cabinets. We recently got a kitten whom, regretfully, my older cat HATES and actively tries to hide from. These took 5 seconds to install and now she cant try to open the cabinets at 2am and we have to hear THUMP THUMP THUMP whiles she wrestles them open. They are also very easy to open and I appreciate that they can be removed without a trace when the atmosphere improves between my cats (please let the atmosphere improve.....)

> 3 daythis is a genius child safety item.. pros: - genius lock system that is simple and easy to use - does not have any kind of glue or stickiness that will mess up my furniture. - durable material that makes this item lasting -adjustable to most cabinet distances of handles cons: - need shoehorn style handles to work. the only negative I found and that is something that cannot be changed, the item needs a particular type of handles to be useful. all i need to do is slide the closing piece in and the teeth in the back will keep them secured, once I wanna open he cabinet I press the opening piece and slide out releasing it from the teeth and it slides right open, pretty simple system! but overall this is a pretty well made safety system that is effective and not bad looking at all.

11-06-2025I purchased these because my 2 year old managed to figure out how to remove the other childproof locks we had on our cabinets. So glad I came across these locks because they are AMAZING and do exactly what they’re are suppose to do!

> 3 dayI needed something to keep my side-by-side fridge/freezer closed because my toddler always opens the freezer to sneak ice cream/popsicles and has left the door(s) open on several occasions. The very first time I put the lock on the door handles, my toddler comes in and somehow pulls it off and opens the freezer. Um, okay. I wondered if maybe it was defective but I tried it out and It still worked. After some trial and error, I figured out that I just have to place it higher on the handles where my toddler cant reach and he has yet to open the freezer. I still use it and it works, just dont let your toddler handle it because somehow, theyll figure out a way to undo it.

> 3 dayGood value, easy to install to maintain cabinet security. Unfortunately, these did not fit my cabinets with raised trim. The latch would not engage securely behind the door knobs and above trim. Item returned.

> 3 dayI was looking for cabinet locks that didnt require any screws or adhesive, and these were it. Super simple to use, and great value for the price. Yes, it doesnt look as great as those hidden locks with the magnets... but I dont have to worry about any damage to my cabinets, or about my little one accidentally getting his hands (or mouth) on the magnetic key.

> 3 dayI don’t have a kid. I have an annoying cat that likes to open all the doors. With this, he can’t do it and has given up trying to open them. Very easy to install. I guess you can say it’s age appropriate? He is a 5 year old cat that can’t open them, and as an adult i can do it in the dark or with eyes closed.

> 3 dayBetter than I thought! So far these are strong and hold up against my 16 month old trying to pull the door handles to open. They are very easy to get on and off and love that it wont damage the cabinets with adhesive.

> 3 dayIf you do buy them make sure your handles are really close together. No more then 3 inches apart.
