This was my first time using a Poe switch, and it couldnt have been easier. I really liked how it had a long power brick cable and a long power cable. That helps a lot with planning where to plug stuff up. In my case I plugged this up by my entertainment center close to the wall where it would be powering an exterior poe ip camera to help with cable length. The case it nice and sturdy and the unit setup first time no issues and none since then. My only gripe is that its 10/100 not gigabit, but truthfully I dont think I can even tell that it is because I was able to always access the videos on the ip camera super fast even from its micro SD card and download them quick. While watching live view on the cameras I had zero lag and no outages or buffering at all. For the money you cant really go wrong for a 60w poe switch. There are cheaper ones, but you get less power and might get gigabit, but I dont really think its needed. I also like how the lights on the front arent really super bright and distracting.

Works as advertised, no complaints, powers my 3 IP cameras no problem. The metal box gives it some durability.

This is a very well built quality switch. I was adding cameras and decided to go with Power over Ethernet (PoE). Being able to run power and data over one cable really helps me limit the number and the size of any holes I have to drill. I can drill a 1/4 hole and then put the RJ45 connector on after pulling the wire through using an inexpensive crimping tool. The switch was packed well in a padded box so it arrived undamaged. The case feels especially solid and is made of metal. It comes with screws and mollies if you want to mount it to a wall. It worked immediately to power the camera and get the data to my home network without any configuration required. Non-PoE network devices can be used on this switch as well because it knows whether or not to send power to the connected devices that need it. I am very pleased with this purchase. I had the camera connected and had video and sound within minutes.

Plug it in and it just works. stays cool which is awesome compared to other POE switches. I only have one POE-Camera on it right now, but its good and stable. Very pleased.

This is a great little PoE switch that does exactly what you expect it to do with no fuss. It is plug and play with no configuration required. When PoE cameras are connected to the switch it automatically detects that they need power and provides it automatically. This is great, as only a single cable needs to be run to each camera instead of having both power and data as separate cables. The build quality is solid with a matte metal exterior. One of my cameras is connected with a 100ft ethernet cable and this device has no difficulty providing power at that distance in the “default” mode. There is an “extended” mode for additional distance if your needs require, my situation has not required this. The device provides up to 60W of power which is more than enough to power multiple cameras—I have used the switch to power two cameras. My only note of caution for this switch is that it is limited to fast ethernet (100 Mbit). For the purposes of connecting PoE cameras this is more than enough bandwidth and won’t limit performance, but it is advertised as a solution for connecting PCs and laptops which will result in limited performance between devices when gigabit networking is standard these days. I have a gigabit switch that I use for my home network and have this switch setup as a sub-switch just for the networked cameras. If you are looking for a single-switch solution to connect computers and PoE cameras (as suggested in the pictures) I would recommend finding a PoE gigabit switch. If you’re looking for a switch to power your PoE cameras alone this will certainly meet your needs!

I waited a few weeks to see, I Run (3)4K POE Cameras NO problem.... The range booster works awesome, I tested, and works as advertised.

This is to replace a dead switch on in the attic. Working as expected. It powers cameras not AP. So 100 M is not an issue for me. I will see how it goes when attic temperature goes as high as 110F.

This is the perfect product for us! We purchased an outdoor camera and realized that in order for it to work for us, we would need a POE switch. We received this and it is great quality and compact. It was easy to set up. Definitely recommend!

In case you want to know about humid environment application, it would be a consumable. The location was next to the poorly insulated garage door, where the space was not well sealed, in a garage with a dirt floor, in North Carolina. About as bad as you can get. I think I got about 8 months, or midway through summer.
