AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

The speed of this CPU is fantastic. Love it. Just wish it didnt run as hot as it does, but I am upgrading to accommodate it.

People tend to overlook the 5800X because of its worse price-per-core ratio relative to its fellow 5000 series siblings. However, it is an excellent CPU that is more than enough for gaming and streaming if that is what youre looking to do. Do keep in mind it does not come with a cooler, and even if it did, you would likely want a better quality cooler as it does get toasty. This is normal as the CPU is designed to automatically overclock itself (providing better speeds) if it has the thermal headroom to do so.

Very smooth , idles ~60celsius, gaming stays around 79-82celsius

Marked the price to 4* because the price was normal market price. Its a damn good processor and was new and boxed and delivered fast. No issues - would buy again.

Ich habe meinen AMD Rayzen 1700x gegen Den 5800x getauscht und habe es nicht bereut. Die Mehrleistung fällt besonders beim spielen positiv auf. Das die CPU ein Hitzkopf ist kann ich auf Grund einer AIO Wasserkühlung nicht bestätigen. Beim Spielen wird die CPU nur ca 50 Grad warm.

If you bought one of these, then you know that they run hot and that you will need more than efficient cooling strategies. If an increased electric bill is no biggie for you, then power to the max. It does have efficiency settings in the bios. The software can also help temper this (ha ha ha). This is one powerful chip.
