The size and shape are identical to the original Nerf brand dart with exception as other reviewers have pointed out the tip is a bit harder. When compare to the Nerd Elite it’s just slightly stiffer rubber tip. Not much more. But it will hurt if shot at close range so with any common sense you would want to have the kids wear appropriate clothing and definitely eye protection. Even with the Nerf branded dart if shot at close range or far but on skin it will hurt. It’s a great deal and would recommend buying.

> 3 dayThis huge pack of bullets was great for my sons nerf war party. They come individually packed in packs of 10, so we were easily able to add them to gift bags for party guests. Then we poured the rest into a bin and let the kids have at it during their nerf war. They didnt jam and are very sturdy.

Thing to know - they come packaged 10 at a time in the box so you have just a ton to unwrap which could be annoying or it could be a lifesaver if you only toss them out to the kids a package at a time.
