> 3 dayWe hung lights from our house to the neighbors house across the street. This hanging kit worked like a charm to hang and secure the lights.

> 3 dayI wish I had one more carabiner, but, I was able to make it work fine without it. It was easily enough to support three strings of hanging lights. It looks well, and Im reasonably confident that i wont have any lights falling any time soon!

> 3 dayProduct came fast, item was neat,I need to use as a clothes line ,the screws to tighten the cable werent able to hold the wire together at both ends ,so the wire kept slipping out and falling to the ground with the weight of the wet clothes .I had to cut more cable with about 1ft extra on each sides and used double set of clamps on each end to try to hold the weight, its workingnow ,but waiting to see outcome after more use

> 3 dayWorked great for our outdoor string lights. The black ties didn’t work so well so we didn’t use them.

Greater than one weekThis kit is great. Way less expensive than if you bought all the parts individually and the wire alone makes it worth the buy. Got my lights hung up and have plenty for my second string when the time comes.

> 3 dayI see alot off reviews saying the wire doesn’t fit into the holes on the adjustable locking screws to create loops at the end of the wire. Unscrew it first so the hole is open before sliding the wire through, it’s easy and works just fine. With that said, I hung lights and used the mechanism to tighten the tension on the wire as it’s intended. The wire slipped through the locking screws, stripped the coating on the wire and fell to the ground breaking bulbs, twice! Sure I made it pretty tight, but that’s what the kit is for. Tomorrow I will put 2 of those locking screw things on each end, to make sure this doesn’t happen again!! It’s a good kit, but if you really want it tight, you need to reinforce the locks that create the loop ends so they don’t slip. I would buy and use this again, but double up the locks if you plan to have tight tension. Extra crimps or double the screw locks. I will now go through the trouble tomorrow so they don’t fall down again, and hold sturdy for the long run.

11-06-2025Liked the cable system Disliked the zipties because they were twistyties not zipties. Not sturdy enough for hanging outdoor lights
