Andersen Lower Screen Roller Assembly (1991 to Present) 1 Pair - 1997310 by Andersen Windows

Ordered this to replace my broken rollers on screen slider. Easy to replace and works great now.

New fit perfect and easy to install. Old difficult to remove following Anderson video. Problem caused by plastic retainer tabs being brittle. Had to use Vise Grip to remove it. The previous model used two retaining screws to hold rollers in place. Anderson should have not have changed to weak plastic retainer tabs. Manufactures try to use as much plastic as possible because its cheaper than metal. The Anderson door unit is great though.

we had purchased these rollers before so I was sure of the correct part. It didnt take 15 minutes to remove the sliding screen & the old rollers and put the new ones in place and put the screen slider back in place. Screen slides smoothly once again !

It came quickly. I was able to install it easily myself and was not able to buy locally.

Have not had a chance to install these rollers as of ye due to the cold weather, expext them to work flawlessly. original units lasted 5 years.

I like that the original rollers lasted 25 years. Easy pop-in cartridges. Durable parts, easy adjustment.
