Ive used this in my car for several months. The Florida heat doesnt seem to have adversely effected the charger in any way. I have my iPod plugged into one USB slot and my cell phone in the other. Both charge quickly and without issue. The lit end even makes it easy to use during night hours. The connection to my cars outlet is very secure -- no wiggle room. SO far this has performed better than expected for the price I paid.

Anker products are great, this one is no exception.

This charger worked for a short period and then just stopped working altogether. Tested in separate cars and cables to check if anything else was the issue. Phone: Samsung Galaxy S6.

Byer beware I have baught 3 of these and every one worked fine up until the other day I was driving and I kept smelling plastic burning I thought it was the car maby something over heating . I could not figure it out finally I checked the charge of my phone and the light absent on I checked the cable and was burned. I quickly pulled the cable from the phone and saw a little ploom of smoke . This adapter just ruined my note 8 ,cable car charger and God knows the the toxic fumes I inhaled as the plastic burned I have since removed all the chargers from service and will look for an alternative to charge phones

Great charger. Ive previous purchased a number of less expensive ones. Some were complete trash, some were OK. One pretty good charger I bought sported a 2.0 mA port and a 1.0 mA port, and it was OK, but the asymmetric ports meant that of two devices, one would get short-changed on charging speed.

I purchased two of these and they work great, do not overheat like other brands do.

This car charger works really well. I have a dash cam as well as a phone charging cable plugged into this charger. With dash cam on, talking and using gos on the phone, the battery on the phone charges up about 40 to 50% in about in hour. So Far still going strong. Ended up buying a second one for my mom and it works well for her too. Definitely recommend this product.
