    Well I needed this for higher power transfer of 2A to power a usb fan. The 1A phone charger didnt work on high speed so i decided to use my i-pad 3A charger which is only a USB-C. So with this high speed and higher power uSB-C to USB 3.0 adapter it works GREAT! I can now power my fan on High speed all night with this higher power adapter.

    These are a decent price, and I chose them as Anker are generally reliable and good. Very happy with them - they give just short of the data transfer speed I get with the Apple adaptor (to/from spinning disk; I havent compared with SSD). Especially good for the price. Would buy again!

    I have a 2021 MacBook Pro and a 2022 Mac Studio and a lot of devices that charge or connect via USB-A so these are really handy to have around. It would be ideal to have direct USB-C cables but these dont exist for some products or would cost more than using adapters.
