does the job and will work..only thing is that either a PSP 1000 or 3000, the part that suppose to charge your PSP system doesnt fit all the way in...however it still charges but for safety precautions and just in case you drop water while charging...your system will for sure explode. but it should be fine and it charges very well is just that it doesnt fit all the way through with either systems

Charger cable works well. I didnt have the same problem that others have said regarding the cable not fitting snug. Mine fits very snug, almost too snug... It does remove though, so no complaints.

I bought this thinking my charging cable had died for my PSP. Turns out my PSP no longer directly charges. As such I cant confirm the quality of the charging, but it seems to behave a bit better than my prior cable for data transfer. (I presume this cable is simply newer than my old)

I like the fact that it has a data transfer connector and a charging connector all on one cable.
