Apple 2021 MacBook Pro (16-inch, M1 Max chip with 10‑core CPU and 32‑core GPU, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD) - Space Gray

After years with PC laptop, I switched to 16 MacBook Pro with Intel chip in 2020. It was a great laptop, except it was too hot to put on my lap! I brought it back to Apple store, and the tech at Genius Bar was scratching her head but just reinstalled the whole system; I then bought an app to boost the fan, a stand to leave the air vent away from any surface ... ... none of them worked. Now I traded it in for about 20% the purchase price, and got this 16 MacBook Pro with M1 chip. I am so happy, because finally I can put this laptop on my lap!!!

Overall the machine is nice, even revolutionary. However, the notch is there, I still cannot believe its apples design. How can apple make that?

I dont like leaving bad reviews. I have used Macs since the MacPlus. Ive probably owned just about every Mac made since then.This MacBook is, well, a computer. I dont see anything that is wowing me. I simply needed to upgrade to this because my previous Mac could not upgrade to the latest operating system, although it was running just fine.

M1 Max is really ultimately fast CPU! This device is much better designed than previous one, so definitely worts money, despite on solid price!

I’ve never owned a Mac. Let’s just say I’ll never purchase anything other system. The photoshop and quality. The tools available are amazing. I’ve already begun restoring old photos from family albums. I love the seamless connectivity of my Mac, iPhone and Apple Watch are awesome and makes my hectic life more simplified. The battery life is crazy long. I’d say over 18 hours and it didn’t die in my. My work lap too dies after 4 hours of continuous use.

Bought this to replace a 2015 i7 retina 15 MBP, and was blown away.

I just upgraded from the 2017 MacBook Pro with touch bar. It is 3x faster then my previous laptop, the battery lasts all day and after 4 weeks of using it everyday, Ive only heard the fans turn on once. Which is a huge improvement because my old MacBook Pro the fans would turn after opening 2 Chrome tabs. I highly recommend this new MacBook Pro.

Arrived DOA - wouldn’t start up. Spent hours on the phone with Apple support and still wouldn’t start. Returned - c’mon man!
