> 3 dayI am typing on this keyboard as I write this review - and the experience is remarkably like that of an Apple MacBook. I purchased this as a replacement for my Logitech Folio keyboard for my 11” iPad Pro as I was constantly annoyed at that not keeping a connection and inability to reliably type and dropped letters. This is a vastly superior experience from a typing standpoint. The backlight was important to me and the trackpad is a very nice addition, although I still find myself using the touchscreen more. The fact that this is powered by the iPad with pass through charging is incredible, leaving my USB-C port for dongles and storage if needed. I do lament the lack of inclusion of an Apple Pencil holder, as something that costs $300 should have a safe way of holding onto this. The lack of function keys are something I miss from the Logitech folio as well. I was a bit concerned about the robustness of the hinge, but given the history Apple has with manufacturing hinges, this appears to be textbook solid, and I suspect will not have any issues. Overall, this is a great solution, with a few drawbacks that would have made it 5 stars; If you are frustrated with typical keyboard attachments for the iPad Pro, this will certainly make you happy.

16-06-2025This keyboard is very nice. It attaches to the Apple Pro lap top. Lap top is sold separately. Lap top connects to keyboard magnetically. Very nice feature. Very durable and delivered quickly.

Greater than one weekGood product in principle, however drains battery and is not compatible with some common third party apps (e.g. YouTube)

Greater than one weekI love my fast processing iPad, tough idea of using just the screen keyboard for extended time, or when traveling, makes me uneasy. this keyboard with the track pad improves my productivity - no need for the laptop

> 3 dayI use it for school and work where I need to write patient reports relatively quickly between calls. The trackpad feels great and speeds up my workflow. The gestures are so natural that I find myself not needing to look them up and just kind of guessing at what does what which is pretty cool. Its not light but is more condense than other laptops by a lot. Im 61 and the angle is perfect for me, but I could see shorter or taller people having issues with the angle not being more adjustable.

> 3 dayThe current price of $199 seems like a much better value than $299, especially since what you get is just a keyboard. What you do get however, is absolutely stunning. Some of the modifier keys, such as shift, or return are a little small so it’s easy to make typos. The trackpad is very smooth and easy to click. I do wish that it had the function keys like vol up and down, or brightness up and down. It is a bit heavy by itself, so adding the iPad makes it a bit hefty. The keys are backlit, which I was not expecting. It runs off the iPad’s own power, so there is no Bluetooth or charging required. The USB-C port on the keyboard is for power only, so you will have to use the one on the iPad to connect any accessories.
