Heavy and solid- so happy with them

Solid. Good quality wood. But.. Once water hit the top of the bench water spots and whiteness formed all over it. I used teak oil to fix it and it lasted one day.. Hummm

In a world of knock down veneered chip board furniture, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. When you first open the box it’s evident. This sustainably harvested wood is solid, heavy, and looks great. Let me say that again, solid wood, The seat is a full 2” thick slatted, curved form of solid teak. It looks so much better than the veneered (pardon me) junk sold as tables and cabinets with veneer over MDF or whatever substrate. The stainless steel hardware is a uniform size for all connections, ensuring ease of assembly, and strength. It took about 10 minutes to assemble, and it was easy enough a 7 year old would have no issues. And the proportions look great. They are spot on for good design. The rubber leveling feet complete the design. If I were to custom commission this piece with cost no object, I don’t know what I would change. And no, I don’t work there. I just appreciate good design and good manufacturing.

Its pretty hard on a naked rear end. A foam rubber pad would help. Makes for a restful shower!
