First off, I think a person should know that these units are built of what feels like very sturdy material, aluminum, thick and well put together. Next, you should know that it is a complete kit. You get two brackets, you get a bunch of rubber pads that go inside the brackets, and the pads are of different thicknesses to fit different diameter tubing. So you will find the right fit for your application. Also the units come with the screws necessary to tighten them down. We are going to use them to mount our marine radio on the underside of our t-top. If, for some reason, the radio is enough weight that, with the bouncing on the waves, these mounts should turn, it could be because our rails are very smooth aluminum and even a tight grip might still allow movement. The marine environment is a challenge. But if this happens it is a simple matter to drill a hole through both mount and rail and drive a large sheet metal screw through both pieces to prevent any swivel. But that is only if necessary-it seems like the rubber pads and the ability to tighten them down quite tight should be enough.

Worked perfectly for the application. Using 3 of these on my center console boat one for the antenna and 2 for LED light mounts. Holding up well and working great and a highly cheaper price then ones actually designed for the t-top.

This is a quality bracket. Just what I needed for installation of LED spotlights mounted onto a motorcycle crash bar. Can mount in various configurations as well.

So bought three packages to mount a rack on my truck and out of 6 clamps two were unable to be threaded and out of those two the threads on one were so bad that I couldn’t repair. Look sturdy and feel sturdy. They are wide so be aware of getting close to any bends in tubing. Debating ordering another pair or trying to fix it further with thread tool. Which the window of feature was still open for defaults in quality control.

Put this in a roll bar and attach a quick rubber clamp and you have a cheap, high quality axe and shovel mount.

Pleasantly surprised that the bar clamps where better than I expected. A small upgrade of the nut and bolt that came with the clamp, you could mount almost anything you wanted to.

Brackets seem sturdy and well made but as they are received they will not hold a flag pole such as a dune flag. You must drill the hole out to allow the shaft of a dune flag fitting to mount through it
