Bought this while digitizing some old albums that were never released digitally. The sound quality difference between the 43 year old stock cartridge and this new one blew me away. I initially had a terrible hum when I installed the new shell with cartridge. After changing out cables and preamps and computer interfaces I found that ever so slightly twisting the cartridge shell in the tone arm magically eliminated the hum and massively improved the musical output.

The first one I received had serious issues with the right channel and no adjustments I could make would fix it. I set up a return, and got a replacement. Im not a full on audiophile, but I enjoy listening to records and I look for the less expensive ways to improve playback quality. This one is a dream! Its tracking well on records that my original stylus had trouble with. The sound is clear and full. I havent been able to notice any inner groove distortion. This was a really good upgrade to my system and Im very happy I bought it. Some people claim it needs a break-in period before you get the best sound quality, but its already amazing out of the box.

Big improvement over standard base green cartridge supplied with Turntable. Much more dynamic range. Finally enjoying the Audio Technica T/Table now.

This micro line cartridge rand stylus rejuvenated Beatles and Stones albums I have had for 55 years. Its like Im listening to these albums for the 1st time in terms of new details that I never heard with previous elliptical stylus. Well worth the upgrade.

Bought a vintage Denon DP-30L turntable. It came with a cart that has no shielding so it picked up the hum of the direct drive motor and got louder the closer to the spindle it got. After a bit of research this cart kept popping up as a recommendation as a good fit for the Denon. When the cart came it was checked before installing. They did a great job of mounting the cart to the headshell. It was straight and the overhang was spot on. Installed on the Denon it is now the quietest TT Ive ever had. The sound is excellent across the full range and its not even broken in yet. Very good bass, highs and mids. Its the whole package. Ive spent more for a moving coil cart and this one is better both in price and sound.

The VM540ML was a major upgrade on my Fluance RT81. I replaced the Audio Technica AT95E Cartridge that came stock on the RT81 and the sound quality and Inner groove distortion was greatly improved.
