Initially, we started using the Aveeno Baby Eczema line for our baby that has eczema. Then I tried it once & I now use it as my facial moisturizer during the dry winter NYC months. It’s unbelievably soothing. I don’t have eczema but occasional acne & acne scars. It’s pretty much gone now! I love this stuff! I wouldn’t use in the spring/summer months though. My face becomes a grease ball.

personally i washed my hands after using this, its SO thick - but it did help my sons eczema and dry skin.

My four month old son suddenly developed eczema that didn’t respond to a multitude of lotions and creams. He was scratching constantly and it was interfering with his sleep. My pediatrician recommended this lotion and within several days, my son’s eczema had greatly improved. I use this lotion along with the Aveeno Soothing Creamy Wash and my son has not had an eczema flare-up in over a month. Eczema can be tricky to treat and it’s important to also be aware that laundry detergent can cause flare-ups along with certain types of clothing material (such as wool). This product needs to be used consistently in order to see results, but it is one product I always make sure we have available in our house.

This is the only lotion I can use on my daughters fair skin. She has eczema and scratches very bad. This helps the healing process.

My daughter has eczema (mild to moderate) and this product works wonderfully! It’s a cream so it’s thicker and keeps her skin moist. It prevents flare-ups and gets rid of the itch (for the most part). This helps reduce our need for cortisone because we are out ahead of things rather than playing catch up. I cannot say how much we love this. The doctors were even singing praises over how our child’s skin looked at her last visit. NOTE: this works for us; you’ll need to find what works for you. A friend of ours had better luck with other brands. But I would put this on your list to try if you or your child has eczema. Seriously. We only apply twice a day when she is in pants and a long sleeved shirt. We would need to apply it more when she is in shorts. It is expensive but addressing health is a priority for us and nothing else has returned results like this (again, for us). I do not notice a smell. You might want to make sure that you only have this on your hands as it tends almost to seem to break down to water when there are other products on your hands (i.e. other lotions).

Our newborn and toddler both have dry skin and we were told about this eczema cream. Within one use, the dry skin problem went away for good. Now we use it from time to time and theres never been any issues. This cream is truly magic and Ive been recommending it left, right, & center.
