Helpful for when transitioning baby from car to anywhere. It’s great to keep sun & wind out of the baby’s face AND we love to use it as a shield from strangers at the store from poking their heads in and wanting to touch our baby. Also, if you’re able/want to breastfeed it’s supposed to double as a cover for when you’re in public!
