> 24 hourFANTASTIC monitor!! It seems so difficult to find a good quality monitor that doesn’t cost more than $100, but this is it! We’ve been using this several months now & it has been perfect! The picture, sound quality, & battery life are all so good! It has great noise reduction & it doesn’t cut in & out of internet reception. We love this so much we’re getting another for baby #4 on the way & will link up the 2 cameras on the one monitor, which will be nice! Highly recommend!

> 24 hourWe bought this baby camera as an upgrade from our earlier camera which had a smaller screen and could be configured with just one camera. We are quite happy with the camera and it delivers on its impressive array of features. As with our prior model, the set up was super simple. The bigger screen makes a world of difference! You can even observe the baby’s expressions, and with the two way voice, it is almost like being in a video call. So it can be used as a video intercom while the kid(s) play. The soothing music is a game changer too, we wish we had it earlier when our baby was little so that she could have gotten used to falling asleep with the music from this camera. The zoom works very well and even with 4x zoom, the video quality is clear enough. Ofcourse, when zoomed, the range of area that the camera can be panned to reduces a bit. The navigation and menus are all quite simple and can be done one-handed (ofcourse if you are a right handed person, it will be easier to operate). Night vision is fantastic and you can see the baby even when it is almost pitch dark! There are a few minor cons people should be aware: 1) The camera is quite bulky and cannot be easily perched on precarious footing like our old one. Ofcourse, because it has a speaker and all, it is quite bottom heavy. I have uploaded a couple of pics comparing our old 3.5 in screen camera to this. 2) It can’t look “down” as much as our old camera. While horizontally, it can cover almost the whole room, it can’t easily look downward as much as I would have liked. 3) There is a green light (like a laser LED) that it emits. It can be disturbing at night, especially if the camera is pointed towards you directly. This is not a big deal if you are a sound sleeper but I can imagine it being a problem for some. All in all, it is a nice purchase for this price point and has everything you might want in a baby camera, and then some more.

> 24 hourSo far it looks very good, our last one, of a different brand, stopped receiving signal at the furthest point from the room which is where we normally sit, this one has a much bigger screen and camera and hopefully should last longer.

> 24 hourPros: Large screen, EXCELLENT picture quality (the best I’ve seen, by far, after owning two other monitors), able to pan across the room well. Cons: There’s a green blinking light on the camera base when the screen is turned off and it’s distracting/ annoying in a dark room. I have the base up very high but I can’t imagine someone would want to use this monitor if they were installing it anywhere close to where a child would have the light flashing in their eyes. The camera doesn’t seem to move downward as much as previous cameras I’ve owned. It’s not an issue for me personally but it could be for some people depending on where they want to place the camera. Overall, I really like the monitor and would recommend it. My only real complaint is the annoyance of the green blinking light. Other than that it’s great.

> 24 hourI’ve only used the camera and monitor a few times in the 4 days we’ve had it, but I love it so far. The picture quality is great, audio is reliable as well, and the 5 inch screen is the perfect size. It also pans around and I can see the whole room if necessary. That’s a great feature when your baby turns into a toddler and climbs out of the crib! We previously had a baby camera that connected through wifi only and I don’t recommend that at all to anyone. This Smartbaby monitor is definitely an upgrade, and half the price of the other brand we had. So far I’m happy with this purchase.

> 24 hourMonitor is a huge upgrade from the one I’ve had for the last 8 years. My youngest broke the screen on our last one and I needed something reliable because he suffers from seizures. This one is crystal clear and I can easily see the whole crib. Night vision works great and I love how I can adjust the camera remotely. Very simple to navigate.
