The magnet did not work because gold rings do not stick to magnets, but the company is smart enough to know that and included a hook in this kit as well as a magnet. This was one of the best things a guy or gal could buy. I see so many uses for it. I hope it will last a long time. I have no idea how long the battery will last inside it or if its replaceable. I sure hope so because this is an awesome piece of equipment. They even include an SD card preinstalled in the monitor. It comes with a great caring case with heavy duty foam to protect your instrument. I like the fact it has a 3 year warranty too. I need to write the company with the email they include in the manual to find out about the battery. I really hope it is user replaceable for down the road longevity.

> 3 dayI have owned another boroscope for a few years and that was a wifi product with no screen. I knew a screen based boroscope will lot easier to work with, but this goes the extra mile because of two cameras, handy recording buttons and memory storage. The product and its case are rugged and i know they can handle the rough and tumble of my fixer upper. Comes with a 64gb card preinstalled. Watch out for the protective cover on the camera when you first try turning it on - your screen will look all blue if you dont remove the cover like I initially didnt.
