They are spaced out in such a way that you can plug in many differently sized and shaped adapters, and it comes with four USB outlets as well. I purchased one of these a few years ago for my bedroom and have not had any problems with it, so it was a no brainer purchasing a second one to tidy up my workspace at my desk. The usb outlets are highly convenient, since my desk lamp, decorative desk light, phone, and indoor security camera above my desk are all powered by USB. I absolutely LOVE this surge protector.

> 3 dayIt is hard to find something so solidly built these days. Most other outlet strips that I have found are lightweight cheap junk. The USB charging works great for my phone and the layout works great for running a home office. There is a lot of space between each outlet and you can plug wall warts directly in.
