The creme had a gritty texture, which made it unusable. I purchased this same creme before from a different seller and did not have this issue.

I like this thicker lotion. Nice light smell. It is thicker but Im able to use less, it seems to spread out and doesnt soak in like a thinner lotion, so I can get smooth strokes with less application.

As a massage therapy student, I tried a lot of different cremes, lotions, and oils. Biotone is one of the best non-oil lubricants for massage work. And definitely get the 7-oz refillable tube as opposed to the pump jar. The creme is thick (which is a good thing), but that means it often doesnt want to come out of the pump jar and youre stuck with an almost-full container thats useless. Whereas this is refillable, so you can keep using it.

My current massage therapist uses this cream. My former therapist used oils, but she moved away. Used to feel uncomfortable all day after massages with oil. The oil blocks the sweat gland pores and no amount of bathing got rid of the overheated feeling. When my former masseuse visited, bought this tube for her to use. There is still some residual pore clogging, but not as bad as with oils. Have not noticed any pain relief or moisturizing. If there is any scent, it’s very mild.
