> 24 hourIve always liked Bissell products and the companys support of animals. I needed a carpet cleaner, so when I saw the commercial for this one and found it here on Amazon, I jumped at the chance to get it. Our beloved Jack Russell passed away a couple years ago and were now adopting a new dog from a family member who cannot keep theirs and she arrives in a few weeks. Weve been redecorating and/or renovating rooms and I decided to do a REAL Spring cleaning as well. Obviously that had to include cleaning the rugs and carpets. When I moved the nightstand next to the bed, I found 8-yr. old coffee stains. I remember exactly when the man spilled the coffee, trusted that he cleaned it all up and forbade any future libations in the bedroom. As pictured, you can see that he didnt clean it all but, you can see in the other photo that THIS BISSELL REVOLUTION HYDROSTEAM DID!!! AND, I couldnt even use the steam function because I couldnt properly fit and run the floor unit between the bed and wall. Its a non-movable, king-size bed on a platform with drawers, so I crossed my fingers, then used the hose attachment to clean this part of the carpet. The cleaning solution is amazing! Im convinced that this unit can handle any dirt or stains thrown at it by 4- and 2-legged animals. I used all 3 settings and was happy each time. The quick-dry setting worked well on area rugs over the hardwood floors. So all rugs and carpets are clean and fresh. The solution has a fresh scent that nicely permeated the rooms, but not overwhelmingly so and it quickly dissipated. My hubby and I are both sensitive to fragrance and had no problems. Its a process to disassemble and clean this unit but hey, same with my vacuum cleaner. It was an easy process and, as instructed, I left the tanks and other parts out to air dry in the utility/laundry room before reassembling. The only thing that took a couple of days to fully dry was the hose, even though I hung it with both ends down and shook it out each day. It is a waffled hose, so thats kinda-to-be expected. A storage bag is provided and hangs easily. Everything fits easily in the guestroom closet. Great product!

> 24 hourMy toddler poured all her cousin’s water based paints on the carpet to tried to use them to paint all over herself , other part of the carpet and the wall. It was a whole 12 oz of paint that was dumped out into the carpet. I freaked out and ended up ordering a bissell cross-wave during a sale. The stain were left on the carpet for over 3 weeks while waiting for the cleaner to arrive. It arrived and just as expected to be heavy for most regular wet and drive carpet cleaner due to a solid motor. I jumped right to work as soon as i got it. It was pretty simple to use. I had to pre wet the effected areas with hot water mixed with dish detergent and left alone for 30 mins to help moisten up dried paint. I then used the cleaner to clean it up. It took a few tries to clean most of the mess. On the last attempt, i added a cup of laundry bleach in with 4 gallon of hot water from sink, as well added in a cup of bissell’s cleaning solution. It did came out pretty clean for the most part. It took me over an hour to clean that whole bedroom. Even though, the heavy vacuum did left me with a sore arms and few calluses but i was happy with the result. Definitely recommend! Please put on your nice grippy pair of gloves and wear a pair of waterproof gloves over them when you use this cleaner. You should a good size cleaning brush to use on some of the stubborn mess as well!

> 24 hourThis carpet cleaner from Bissel is super easy to use. It comes almost completely assembled, only requiring you to fit the clean water tank and snap in the handle. Once thats done, simply add water to the desired fill line (small area or large area) then add cleaning solution to the next line. As an initial test, I used this to clean the carpet of a medium sized bedroom. The rug did not have any real stains except for an area that had been discolored due to one of our dogs sleeping on the same spot for many, many years. I did not try the pretreat mode, but did use the max clean mode on that on discolored spot and used the quick dry mode on the rest of the carpet. There was a slight improvement in the discolored area, but I did not expect much as this spot has been many years in the making. I will go back over it again with the pretreat mode next time. I was also pleased that cleaning the entire room only used about on half of the small area solution (although I am sure that I would have gone through that much faster if I was using the Max Clean mode). However, the brown water in the dirty water tank attests to the amount of dirt removed even in the light cleaning mode. Cleanup was also very easy. The dirty water tank is easy to rinse and the roller cover pops off easily and can be rinsed out without too much effort. Even though I thoroughly vacuumed the room first, there was quite a buildup of dog fur in and around the rollers. It cleaned out easily, but I have to wonder if that could have clogged and compromised cleaning ability of the machine (possibly requiring an intermediate clean out). Overall, I was extremely impressed with how easy it was to use and how effective it was at pulling up dirt. It did not fully remove the old stain in my carpet, but it really would not be fair to expect it to (and I do suspect that repeated cleanings will likely make continued improvements). I also am looking forward to using the hose/attachments to clean our carpeted stairs. It appears to be well made and of high quality and I can easily recommend this carpet cleaner.

> 24 hourThe previous owner of my house had dogs that had ALL the accidents on the carpet. The stains were bad! I wanted to try to get them up before spending the money to replace it so I gave this cleaner a shot. I am SO GLAD I did!!!!!!! The first picture was the first pass with the steam super clean setting on…… THE FIRST PASS!!!! I thought I was seeing things! This thing is amazing. I was worried because the carpet was matted down. This thing fluffed it right up and got all the yuck out. The only down side I can find with this machine is that it’s a little on the heavy side BUT…. I would be worried it wouldn’t last if it wasn’t so sturdy. It was super easy to put together. Directions were clear. THANK YOU BISSELL!!!! This machine was worth every penny!

> 24 hourI have had multiple carpet cleaners that are supposed to remove pet hair before. It is a history of trauma and difficulty, poor carpet cleaner performance. I am glad to say that this carpet cleaner assembles very easily- just a few pieces to snap in and youre done! I filled the tank with water and solution and turned it on. And.......nothing happened. It wouldnt turn on. The instructions that came with the carpet cleaner didnt help, so I went searching on the internet. The suggestion that worked is if where you are plugging it in has a circuit breaker, you might need to flip it. I live in an older house that does have a red button to flip the circuit breaker, and once I hit the red button it started. What a relief! The plug requires a properly grounded three prong outlet. I would suggest that Bissell include this suggestion in their instruction manuals. The carpet cleaner did a great job lifting out dirt and grime, and well.... pee. I have enclosed before and after photographs of my carpet, and a photograph of the machine showing some of the grime that was lifted out. I know this machine is designed to lift out and clean out pet pee, but there are millions of us who are caretakers of elderly folks who have catheters. It is really easy to accidently open the valve of the catheter bag and get pee on the rug. I dont care what I have taken to the carpet to clean it up, I still end up with the scent of old pee near moms bed. (This, no doubt, is one of the many reasons that hospitals do not have carpets under patient beds!) This machine did an excellent job of cleaning up human pee in the carpet, and leaving the room fresh and clean smelling. The carpet cleaner comes with a couple of attachments. (I plan to use one of those attachments to clean the stairs.) There is a picture included of the two attachments and another picture of the bag the hose comes in. The attachments fit in the bag with the hose for storage. There is also a picture of the two kinds of cleaning solution included. When you need more cleaning solution I noted that Amazon sells the Pet Multi-source 64 ox cleaner for $17.05 and the Bissell Professional Pet Urine Cleaner 48 oz for $23.99 at the time of this writing. (5/3/2023). There are also some videos about this carpet cleaner on YouTube. I watched one that showed the presenter unboxing and using the carpet cleaner. It was helpful. You might want to check those out. Finally, Bissell notes on the box and on the instruction manual (photograph of this message on the box enclosed) that they have a Bissell Pet Foundation. I went to the web page for the foundation (BISSELLsavespets.com) and found that they state that they have done a lot of really good work in support of our furry friends. I am really pleased that after using the cleaning solution in the carpet cleaner there is no cleaning solution smell in the house. I am really pleased it does a great job cleaning pee out of the carpet. I am really pleased that it was easy to assemble to use (and I am a senior citizen doing these things). Highly recommended. This carpet cleaner is actually going to improve our quality of life at home. I am really grateful to have it.

> 24 hourThe Bissell Revolution was easy to assemble and easy to use. Instructions are included, but the set up was so easy, I didnt even use them. I love the upholstery attachment functionality. It cleans very good and made my sofa look new again. It works great for carpet and made it look so fresh and clean. On a side note Id like to add that it has an extra long cord which is a plus in my book! This machine is a little on the heavy side but it is well built and very sturdy.

> 24 hourThey failed to mention in the description that the attachments do not use steam. Only the base. That was the main reason I spent the extra money on this. Only found this out in the instructions which are in the box. Very misleading. Will be returning.
