The BlenderBottle is hit and miss, in terms of usage, I have had this product since March 27th, 2015 and have used it every day for the past few months. It is perfect for blends you make at home. I blend at home and after the blend sits for a while the concoction gets thick and settles. However, with the BlenderBottle, I just shake shake shake it up and I have a nice palatable beverage again. Even my girlfriend who has a NutriBullet uses the BlenderBottle because drinking out of the NutriBullet canister leads to the same problem. So I can honestly say the BlenderBottle has made it easier for me to drink and transport my blends and has been the perfect compliment to my commuter lifestyle. SO WHY THE THREE STARS MAN?! Simple, I have had the plastic container for about four months and the lid is cracked. I hand wash this container every day, I never use anything but fridge temperature blends in it and I have never dropped the bottle. It is a manufacturer defect in the lid. The plastic separates from the top of the lid to where it gets screwed on as you can see in my picture and that of other amazon reviewers. I have already submitted a warranty claim for a new lid with BlenderBottle, but Im sure the process is going to take at least two weeks so I was forced to by another BlenderBottle in the meantime. Hopefully this one lasts longer or is designed better. ***Update*** I put in for a lid replacement request under the blender bottle warranty which can be found here (http://www.blenderbottle.com/warranty-claim/) The process takes about 15 minutes, you will need to take a couple of pictures and look for numbers on the bottle and on the lid regardless of which part has broken. After submitting my request BlenderBottle mailed out a replacement within about a day so the process is quick. I did this on July 21st and received my replacement on July 27th. In the meantime I had to prime a replacement bottle since I didnt want to go without my blends. Overall Im satisfied with the warranty process.

i’ve used these for ever. easily to clean! i don’t trust straws and frankly i’m not tryna clean a straw. the opening is big enough for me to gulp if i need and the bottle can be carried in cup holders. i prefer the blender bottles with he ring on top so i attach a clip and i’m off.

I bought this alongside a tub of G-Fuel as suggested by numerous friends, and man were they right! This Blender bottle is totally everything I could have ever wanted in a bottle. It mixes anything I put at it, it is very rugged so anything you throw at it it seems like it would handle. It has a clip at the top, so you can clip it onto your gym bag or work bag, so you can mix up a protein shake on the go before the gym, or some G-Fuel for a long gaming session. For $8.00 I believe you get more than your money worth because it seems like this bottle will last for a long time to come. I will update this review if anything changes. This is one of those products that you think you dont really need. It seems like a silly gadget to have cluttering up the kitchen when there are other things you already own that could just as easily do the same job. You think that until you get one. And then you wonder what on earth was wrong with you that you waited so long when such a great tool could have been yours for a measly eight bucks. Im going to be completely honest with you. I do fancy myself an amateur chef, and I do make the occasional salad dressing, marinade, dipping sauce, what have you from scratch. And this is a fantastic tool for that. But the real reason I bought this bottle is because I really love chocolate milk, and the stuff that comes pre-made in a carton from the grocery store just doesnt hold a candle to the Nestle Quik I loved as a kid. But as we all know, making Nestle Quik with a glass and a spoon just never turns out the way you want it to. Either you spend 15 minutes mixing it up until your fingers cramp, or you just get it mixed completely and then have to drink it really fast before the unmixed mix starts to sink to the bottom. Not so with this little baby. Throw the Quik and milk in the bottle with the whisk ball, close and shake for 30 seconds or so, and you have cold, delicious Quik that stays mixed (not that I dont drink it really fast anyway). Then you just shake a bit of dish soap and hot water around in it, and its easily cleaned and ready for your next chocolate craving. Sure, sure. You could make your gourmet sauces or whatever with it. But we all know what youre really going to use it for. And its fantastic for that.

So far the lid and the cap close securely with no leaks. It has ounce and milliliter markings on the side which is handy, also. Highly recommended as a blender bottle. It comes with a stainless steel spring-like ball to help mix.
