The description said 1 Brush Beater Rack and described how it cleaned. I interpreted 1 because of the picture as 1 set shown with the description. Ive seen the plastic bucket w/lid and round rack in stores but this bucket seemed taller and fit the need better. WHAT I got was the rectangular beater rack that you put in your own waster basket. So the picture is misleading and the description needs to be clearer. I didnt return it because it would have cost more to return it than I paid for it.

I primarily only use it for drying out my bigger brushes like 1”, 2”, etc. However, it saves a lot of time and a lot of mess! I use mine in a kitchen size trash can with a bag and just change the bag every few paintings.

I have started painting again and Im glad I remembered Bob Ross mentioning this nifty device for cleaning my brushes. Works very well, easy to clean with soap and water. Most of all, I enjoy beating the devil out of my brushes on this. One tip I would give is to build a wooden frame around it so the paint is contained easier.

I am pleased with this product. I have waited a long time to get all that I needed, and will soon be ready to paint my own happy little trees! :)

This is an excellent beater for cleaning the oil painting off the brushes.

i like it it does what i need it to do

When placed in the bottom of a rectangular plastic waste-basket, brushes can be "beaten" back and forth to quickly remove excess thinner between color changes.
