Body At Brighton Rock

This movie wants to be a Regular person having to overcome major adversity type of film. However, from the get-go the main character is so inept that it verges on a comedy. It would make great drinking game, take a shot every time she does something stupid. The actress herself does an ok job, it is just the plot in general. The build up to main conflict had so many not likely to happen situations. There are far better versions of this type of movie out there. A more compelling plot would have someone competent to whom bad luck and chance whammy and then they must do what they can to survive. I was just waiting for her at some point to step on a rake that was laying on the ground or something. I am annoyed at myself that I actually paid to watch this, at very least would rather have spent money on jim harrison or Peter Matthiessen novel to send to screenwriter of this.

I did not finish watching this movie. The way the chain of events unfold to explain how a DNR worker gets lost in the woods while stapling flyers to trees is arguably close to someone getting hired to work in a shopping mall and ending up lost in the city. Itd be funny but for the lack of respect it has for its own premise.

It’s very fake- that girl is a serious tool! Take your headphones out and pay attention to your surroundings. She’s way to much like an airhead to enjoy this film!

Good entertainment with a twist.

This is a great survival thriller premise, but its lost in the lack of tension and poor acting. I really wanted to like the movie as its description is right up my alley, and so much could have been done with the film to make it engaging, so it just made me feel frustrated that Id spent time and money on it when there was no development of the plot whatsoever. The main character is completely uncharismatic and I had no feeling one way or another about whether I wanted her to survive. Dont waste your time--there are many other movies that you should watch before this one.

Actress was great, but the plot (a girl stuck in the woods who doesnt know with who or what), didnt move much beyond other similar films. The concept is very entertaining, and the filming was beautiful, but I was hoping for a few more surprises in this tale.

Low budget movie all the way around. Bad acting, thin plot and it looks like it was filmed in somebody’s backyard.

Just watched and I loved it! Awesome that it was released on video and theatres at the same time, so I can watch it after our kids go to bed!!

Poor story line- trailer was best part of movie
