    This is my first Bose speaker. I purchased mine at Best Buy. I listened to every compact waterproof speaker they had and this was about the best sounding one I listened to. The sound quality on the Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM, which is the same price, was a little better IMO, but I liked the smaller compact size of the Bose. It fits in a side pouch on my fishing tackle box that the Wonderboom would not fit in. If you like taking a speaker around water (shower, lake, Ocean, in the rain, swimming pool etc) these waterproof speakers are your best bet. Even if you do not go around water they are still the best way to go. A drink tipping over at home on a speaker can ruin it.
