> 24 hourMy first thought was, whether designed for men or women, why do dryer sheets need to smell like cologne? Whats wrong with a clean scent like lemon? But, putting that aside, why shouldnt there be dryer sheets that contain fragrance notes commonly used in male cologne? Most of those scent components are extremely appealing - thats the reason many men wear cologne. And, I already use Bounces basic dryer sheets, so why not offer the option for a more traditionally masculine fragrance? It certainly takes no more effort to use this product when drying a load of gym clothes, tee shirts, etc. or just for a change of pace. Overall the scent is pleasant and the main reason I use dryer sheets, the anti-static quality, remains unchanged. I am all for options, particularly in small issues like this that can be easily resolved. I like it.

> 24 hourThis is good if you dont mind a slight extra scent on your clothes. Perhaps if I was single Id use these for myself. Or if my laundry was done separate from my family. For now though after one use I wont be using them with any family loads of wash. They are for men. A woman will not want this scent on her clothes and I kind of dont like to smell either. Id rather my clothes just be clean, not perfumed. They do work as dryer sheets though. For that they are just fine. The extra smell restricts them to male only or for people who dont mind the scent.

> 24 hourYeah, if you can name the commercial, youre probably at least as old as I am. (Irish Spring.) And back then, it was cute to have a girl in the commercial winking-ly hinting that shes going to use the he-man product. Today, maybe not so much, but then women do continue to go after things (initially) marketed to guys, whether its menswear-style shirts and boy shorts or traditionally masculine fragrances. My favorite current perfume, from Tokyo Milk, has woodsy and tobacco notes. Neither I nor my husband (who has to live with me) like cloying, strong floral scents. This Bounce Pure Sport Dryer sheet has, guess what, woodsy and - I think its tobacco flower (but maybe some other subtle floral) and smoky notes. It doesnt smell to high heaven of perfume or laundry soap. Its also subtle enough to just leave a bit of scent on freshly dried laundry. Thats a real change (THANK YOU!) from what Im used to, but also a nice alternative to scent free products that, although best for severe allergy sufferers, leave laundry too often smelling more not dirty than actually clean. But Im still chuckling over the ad copy here. Like washing (my) clothes at Teddy Roosevelts hunting lodge? Somebodys been watching too many of those Old Spice commercials. No feminist rant here. My outlook on gender roles too often mirrors Delta Burkes old line from Designing Women: The man should have to kill the bug! But cmon, P&G, Woodland Retreat Bounce or some such would get my attention a lot faster than something I might assume smells aggressively of mens cologne. In any case, I see this currently out of stock on Amazon and think I may have to scout some stores, just in case this turns out to be a limited edition. Beats the heckoutta the usual scents.

> 24 hourThese dryer sheets have a really nice fragrance to them. I really wouldnt consider it too masculine. My husband and sons like the fragrance, but I like it too. I was worried I would have to separate my clothes from theirs when I did the laundry but there really is no reason to. These sheet smell nice. And, of course, the main reason I use dryer sheets in the first place is to control static cling and these sheets do a good job of that.

> 24 hourIn terms of working like a fabric softener sheet, these work pretty much like Bounces other scents. No problems there. What I didnt much care for is the scent. I find all of the laundry products on the shelf today smell, well, feminine to me. I wanted something a little more masculine. These are better, but not by much. The scent isnt as pronounced (which may be part of it), but Id qualify it as less feminine smelling but definitely not masculine smelling. I will use all of them - theyre not terrible. I may or may not purchase again, depending upon what I find from other products.

> 24 hourWe are laundry connoisseurs. We have tried it all (the fancy lavender-scented soaps, the organic softeners at Whole Foods, even those weird (but effective) dryer balls. Inevitably, we always return to the Tide/Bounce/Downy family. Its not the cheapest ... but its not the most expensive. (We could have bought new clothes with the price we paid for that lavender dealie/dealy!) When we saw this new Bounce, we had to try it!! Now, do not worry, this is not exclusively for the other 50% of the population. While it isnt a floral smell, it also does not smell like Old Spice or Head and Shoulders. I might be inclined to say that it has a bit of a CK One flair (if you remember those days). My better half simply said that the scent reminded him of clean laundry. (LOL!) It is a pleasant fragrance that both genders might appreciate. As always, it works like a charm: removing static, adding a touch of fragrance, and keeping everything baby soft. Finally, our biggest worry was that this would clash with the scented Tide (Tide with a Touch of Downy), the Downy Unstoppables (pink lid), and the Downy liquid softener (blue lid) ... as it turns out, no. No, that did not happen:) While I limit my P&G products (Im pretty sure that Whole Foods is going to demand my shopping bags back in the most Portlandia way possible), these are just the greatest.
