This piece is meant to go with other mounting arms from this seller and I found no fault with this item if youre looking to go with the smaller ball size for light applications. If you need something heavy or are in a rough application, go bigger ball size and spend more.

These diamond base 1 ball mounts are heavy duty solid aluminum and the ball is overmolded with a plastic coating. The base is anodized in a glossy black. The base measures 1 wide, and 2.4 in length with mounting holes 1.9 on center. These mounts are 100% compatible with RAM MOUNTS 1 ball products.

Used these to mount some phones to my truck along with the BRCOVAN composite arm and this combo works great. The ball is TPU (hard plastic) and are the only weak point of this mount but is still a sturdy product and it holds up well. I like that this is RAM compatible and it just an overall great product.

These are straight forward and worked as expected. They are well made with a clean finish while being rugged and durable. was impressed with the strength and quality when I received them.

We used this mounting plate on the back of a ham radio remote head that is the control faceplate and display for the transceiver when we mounted it in our Jeep. The ball on the plate is able to be securely held by an arm that connects between this part and a ball on a clamp that mounts to the bar we attached to the dash of the Jeep. When all adjusted to where we wanted it to be, this system has proven to be secure and steady. We have had no shifting at all and little to no vibration issues.

These mounts are super handy to have if you’re in the RAM Mount Family. I mounted one to the truck dash for a phone mount, and mounted on onto a stud in the shed so I could mount my iPad while working on the motorcycle.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how well made these mounts were built. The metal base is expertly machined. The ball is nice and rubberized,providing plenty of grip. Great value for two great ram style mounts!

These mounts are very well made and work perfect with arms made for 1 ball mounts. I have tested them with both an arm made by BRCOVAN as well as one from another manufacturer. They work perfectly.
