I bought these for string lights above my pool. The prior bulbs were very thin and I felt too likely to break over my pool deck. These bulbs are solidly built, thick glass. I put up 96 of them without a failure (other than my kids dropping 3). I bought an inline dimmer for them and they all respond well without any flicker. Would definitely buy again.

These are packaged the same as when you purchase them with the string. One box containing 20 smaller boxes with each bulb in plastic. I havent needed to replace any bulbs yet but wanted them on hand if I did. We are very impressed with the light given off by 1 watt bulbs.

Brightech is a fantastic company with solid products at great prices. These bulbs are really great. Theyre less powerful than the 2W bulbs that come on the light strings, which is good for certain things such as porch lighting (my use for these bulbs, and Ive bought two sets now) when you dont want so much light outside that it spoils movie night. Great product, and great company.
