11-06-2025Ive had a few similar wireless carplay dongles, and this one seems to work about as well as the others Ive tried - but was slightly more difficult to get set up. The setup process is pretty simple: turn on your car, plug the dongle in where you would normally plug in your phone for wired carplay (and its nice they provide a cable that will work for either kind of USB port your car likely has) then look for the devices name in the Bluetooth settings of your phone. Pair with it, then tell your phone youd like to use it with CarPlay.
COMPATIBILITY
- For iPhone Model: iPhone 6 and above.
- For Car Model: for cars with factory wired CarPlay from 2016 and above (also works with most aftermarket CarPlay versions).

This Wireless CarPlay Adapter has a smart chip with WiFi and Bluetooth hardware. It connects with iPhone via Bluetooth and sends the WiFi credentials to the phone, then disconnects from the Bluetooth network. Finally, the phone wifi will undertake the task of data transmission and maintain the work of wireless CarPlay.
