Ive never received a bad product from Bulk Supplements. The only thing that would raise the bar is if they included a scoop in each bag, but still a 5 star product. L-Citrulline is a solid vasodialator. Im sure most people are buying as part of their pre workout, but its also good for anyone that is dealing with high blood pressure. **Pair it with beet root powder for extra blood flow**

This nutritional product, L-Citrulline powder works to create Nitric Oxide in the body, which stimulates and enhances hair growth, even regrowth. Research this product and youll see that it is mentioned by authorities; also research the amount required (not that much). My hair is now down to my waist and Ive never been able to grow it this long before. So this product works great with no magnesium sterate, which coats the intestines, reducing absorption over time. I also take supplementation for DHT Blocking (the hormone responsible for hair loss). These products work as new growth is apparent and my hair has thickened. Im very happy with my purchase!!! This product is pure and exactly what I needed. It was also the most economical to use a powder versus having to take capsules. IMO, it certainly helps if you improve your diet/exercise and cut out sugar (7X more addictive than heroin according to research). The Food Industry (much like the tobacco companies) covered up the fact in the 1970s that sugar is linked to heart disease, cancer, obesity, and diabetes. The Truth about Cancer is also an awesome series, which provides knowledge that can assist everyone to improve their health. Baldness, obesity, and cancer seem to be modern diseases brought on by ignorance (To get out of ignorance: Documentaries: Fed Up, Bought, Sick, Fat, and Nearly Dead and The Truth about Cancer are very much worth watching).

Ill preface this review letting you know MY workouts and supplementation are conducive to MY goals. Dont take a supplement or do an exercise without doing your research. You need to know why youre taking what youre taking. You need to know what youre working out and why youre doing it. Im 29 and have been working out since high school. Name the PWO and Ive tried it: NO-Xplode, Jack3d, Craze, C4, Angel Dust (lol, see BSL), Max-HP...honestly, I dont know how many more. 9/10 workouts, I take a PWO. At this point in my weekend warrior workout stage, if there isnt l-citrulline in the PWO, I wont buy it. I was weary buying this much from bulk supplements as it just didnt make sense to me how they could sell that many servings at that price. Dollar for dollar, nothing compares. More importantly, it works....VERY VERY WELL. With a good PWO, I can get to the gym at 5am, get out by 6 no big deal. An hour later, I begin to feel flat. Adding l-citrulline, gives me a perma pump all day long. I tried it for a week straight. Just to make sure it wasnt all in my head, I went without adding it to my PWO and felt exactly how I thought I would.....flat. Bulksupplements delivered a perfect product. Ill definitely buy again.

Ive been using a particular brand of BCAAs for a while now because of the value, taste, and ingredients. Recently that company reformulated the ingredients and removed the L-Citrulline. Instead of trying to find another brand that I enjoyed the taste of, I bought this product and simply add it to my shaker bottle each morning. Problem solved! Good value

I received my order quickly and they even sent me a free sample offer of other products of my choice. I started taking it because L-Arginine really can upset your stomach and liver in supplement form. However, you can take L-citrulline which then converts to L-arginine directly in the bloodstream. I can take larger doses with absolutely no side-effects. I took it for better heart health, protein synthesis and stamina while doing cardio and weight lifting. On the third or fourth day of taking it, I noticed my breathing was much easier. It was almost like I was getting more oxygen. I assume this is from the blood vessel dilation. I was also able to do cardio with more intensity without getting winded. I did not notice a boost while doing weights but the studies imply that it lets you do weights longer. I did not test this theory. Some sites promote L-citrulline for erectile disfunction. I do not have that but I did notice a difference in that area. I am not saying anything got bigger or harder but my walking around size seemed greatly affected. I assume that is from the increased blood flow as well. If you did have erectile dysfunction, I think it may have benefits. The taste is not horrible or good. It is a little metallic-ish. Just mix it with a drink and you will be fine. It takes about 10 seconds to dissolve when stirring. The packaging is good but I had an issue with it resealing well. I just started using a clip on the top instead. It could just be a one time thing. Anywho... I will probably buy this again and from Bulk Supplements since I actually had noticeable positive effects and no negative effects when taking the product.

    Greater than one week

L-Citrulline is found in watermelon, which supplies a hefty dose of vitamin C, potassium, and this stuff. I grew up spending my summers swimming and having watermelon with friends and family, and I always attributed an afterward elated feeling to the sun-and-fun day, but now Im getting older (40) and finding that the watermelon is primary, because I swim less and spend less time in the sun, but I still eat a lot of the watermelon when we get together. I researched the ingredient unique to watermelon and found this stuff. All I can say is that this stuff is a good mood elevator, and Ive never needed to try Viagra, but Ive found that this stuff has at times created an insatiable desire to get busy with the wife. Since Ive started taking this, I feel more like a teenage boy again with a primal sex drive. This exact supplement isnt nearly as effective for that effect as the watermelon/bikini swim party days (which is why it got four stars :-), but I definitely feel a stronger sexual appetite than I have in a long time. I mix this with a morning tea/protein shake and a nighttime tea. It tastes fine and dissolves nicely. Quick delivery and quality product!

This stuff definitely works as a vasodilator and is the must-have foundation of any pre-workout in my opinion. I typically take it first thing in the morning whether or not Im working out and believe it has significant effects on recovery from exercise and gets you kick-started to get on with your day. Then before exercise, I almost always take the same 3 gram dose. I use 3g on an empty stomach mixed in a custom pre-workout, or with the occasional pre-made PWO that I try. Most pre-workouts have an insignificant amount of this if any, so I stack it with almost everything I buy, and prefer to make my own pre-workout from scratch using this, agmatine, and beta alanine as a base. 3g truly is the effective dose for most people (I weigh 217) and typically to get that amount from a pre-workout mix, youll have to consume an undesirable number of scoops, including artificial colors, sucralose, and excessive stimulants. And men, even if you have no problems whatsoever downstairs, it has a noticeable effect on sexual performance, period, it is noticeable for sure and has been studied in comparison to Viagra with encouraging results. The simplest thing a man will notice 30 minutes after taking 3 grams of this is that when you urinate, your stream is huge and powerful because your tissue is significantly plumped up with blood, even in a flaccid state. Sensitivity is increased but control also seems to increase, possibly because pelvic floor and basically all other muscles are full of blood and performing optimally. I am confident this effect would be beneficial to women as well, whether due to their use of the product to increase their own blood flow, or due to their male partners use. As mentioned, its extremely unlikely that your pre-workout mix of choice has an effective 3g dose of citrulline in a reasonable number of scoops. This is better than arginine because its more bioavailable, and more rapidly assimilated via the kidneys, so you end up with a more significant amount of arginine in your tissues, and experience better vasodilation. Beyond citrulline (3g), agmatine (1-2g), beta-alanine (2-3g) and creatine (5g), I use caffeine and occasionally other stimulants in my pre-workout; my main combinations are: 1. (caffeine or caffeine citrate or teacrine) + hordenine + PEA 2. (caffeine or caffeine citrate or teacrine) + higenamine 3. (caffeine or caffeine citrate or teacrine) + yohimbine (this causes intense vasodilation and pounding heart rate, best for interval training, essential in an intermittent fasted state in the AM with BCAAs, maybe 2 times a week, tops under exercise, watch your heart rate and back off for 2-3 minutes when it tops out) Your results may vary, I am not your doctor, dont kill yourself if youre out of shape and/or have family history of or existing high blood pressure, etc...I provide no stimulant dosing information because its a personal risk you take and Im not as confident throwing numbers around as I am for amino acids and creatine, but heres my point in bringing it up: L-citrulline seems to really take the negative edge off of stimulants in a pre-workout supplement, especially those that can raise blood pressure (not caffeine alone) because its offsetting the vasoconstriction caused by things like PEA, hordenine, or higenamine. Back to the bedroom -- again, I am not your doctor, but if you are sufficiently healthy and acclimated to an effective dose of yohimbine and/or rauwolscine (I typically consume 3-6 mg of yohimbine and 0.5-1mg of rauwolscine using a supplement not available on Amazon from AllMax) and combine that with L-citrulline, agmatine, and beta alanine, 30 minutes before sex, you will probably be very impressed.

My wife, now in her 80s has been experiencing restricted blood flow resulting in fatigue and breathlessness. She uses Bulk Supplements citrulline powder and arginine powder stirred into juice to increase blood flow and she says it helps a lot. She has also realized that good hydration is very important and possibly the greatest factor in promoting improved blood circulation. A;so, using a good grade of electrolyte drink, plus vegetable and fruit juices has been very helpful to her in reducing heart arrhythmia.

By far my favorite training supplement, but now considered an aid since it does a ton. I have tried a few other brands and L-Citrulline Malate. Nothing really compares to the Bulk Supplements L-Citrulline except the Kaged Muscle, however, Kaged is a lower concentration and you have to scoop twice as much to get the same results. This product has helped me reduce muscle fatigue and increase my endurance very quickly for longer cardio efforts. It has probably helps with my weight training as well, but I have not noticed a huge difference. I mix some into my pre-workout about 20-30 minutes before unless I have Beta Alanine mixed in, then its about 10-15 minutes prior. Depending on the workout, I usually will mix it in with my mid-workout recovery mixture and then definitely add some to my post-workout mix as it goes well with protein powder. Side benefit is that when I am taking it my blood pressure drops by 10 points on both levels even though I am not too worried about that right now. Definitely recommend it and make sure to verify the price difference between the different weights as when I bought it recently it was only $1-2 more for the next weight which will last a lot longer... unless I get out of control using it!
